I'm thrilled to announce that author and illustrator Ben Clanton will be visiting Cascadia the morning of Thursday, December 12th. He is best known for the Narwhal and Jelly books. He says he spends most of his time on this planet, reading, drawing, playing basketball, gardening and eating waffles. He will talk with us about writing and illustrating books, his creative process and where he gets his inspiration. Books will be available from the Secret Garden Book Store for purchase and autograph. The order form will go home next week and will be due back the day after his visit, Friday December 13th. Unfortunately, he won't have time to sign personal copies while here at Cascadia.  Mr. Clanton will host three different 40 minute sessions in the library at 8:10, 8:50 and 9:45. Parents and siblings are welcome to join us. Thank you to the PTA for funding this event!

Please log in and place up to 3 books on hold for curbside library pickup! The schedule for the next few pickups are below. There is an evening time and a daytime for each pickup. I hope you can make it to one! However, if you can't make it but would still like some library books, please let me know. I'll see if I can get those books delivered.
